Project management for the development of new landing pages
Aviation Business
I led a project for Swedavia's Aviation Business to create improved landing pages aimed at attracting new airlines by showcasing Sweden's regions and airports. My role involved engaging with stakeholders, analyzing traffic, and collaborating on UX design and content creation.

Brief
Aviation Business is responsible for attracting new airlines to Swedavia's airports, one of the company's most business-critical operations. The goal was to create a compelling landing page that both markets Sweden as a destination and highlights various regions and airports, with the aim of attracting more airlines and expanding flight connections.
In my role as project manager for this project, I conducted interviews with stakeholders to identify needs and challenges.
I also analyzed traffic and statistics on existing landing pages to identify areas for improvement.
I worked continuously with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the project adhered to the timeline and met the specified requirements.
As a web communicator, it was also my job to populate the landing pages with content via the CMS, Episerver, and to make the texts accessible and SEO-optimized.
My Responsibilities
The final solution consisted of several landing pages where Swedavia Aviation now presented the regions and airports in a clearer and more accessible manner. The landing pages also enabled route developers to easily refer customers and airlines to a comprehensive platform with all the necessary information.
Solution
The lesson I took from this project was that it requires patience and an ability to communicate with different types of people in a project and ensure that everyone feels involved. Looking back and with my improved knowledge of UX, I realize that we should have conducted more research before speaking with developers and creating a UX solution.
