Klirra
Starting with the User's Financial Overview
My first task in the UI design course was to create a mortgage app for young people.

I chose to base my app on PostNord's graphic identity. The design language is sleek and trustworthy, which I believe also suits a mortgage app.
Many mortgage apps today rely on entering the price of a property and then seeing what the total monthly cost would be if you were to take out a loan.
However, I wanted to flip the process and start by reviewing the user's overall financial situation.
By importing income and expenses from the user's bank account, Klirra provides a clear overview of both income and expenses.
Based on this data, Klirra then calculates what would be a reasonable amount to spend on a home. I essentially turned the process around.
If the user wants to buy a more expensive property than Klirra recommends, they can adjust parameters such as interest rate, down payment, and other factors below. This will then provide a new cost estimate for the home.
